It's official. According to Mashable it is now confirmed (due to court documents from an ongoing lawsuit) that the original deal struck between AT&T and Apple in 2007 was a five year deal extending through 2012. So unless there's a major breach of contract, or the exclusivity agreement is struck down in court as being illegal / monopolistic, don't expect to see a Verizon version of the iPhone anytime soon.Read More »
You've probably heard about the infamous Colorado thief who stole an iPad from a patron leaving a shopping mall. The patron had wrapped the cords of Apple's "back pack" style bag around his finger. When the thief ripped the bag away, the cord stripped all of the skin off his finger, down to the bone. It was so bad that he had to have part of the finger removed.
